With my family photography, I am aim to capture not so much the struggle of all this, but the romance of daily life. We all know it’s hard, but I also want you to see how beautiful it is…
London Couple Photographer - Couples Photoshoot around Big Ben and Tower Bridge
It must be a by-product of the pandemic, but so many people are choosing to move closer to family. In the past year alone, I have photographed tens of families moving to a different continent. It shows how much we need and depend on community, meaning love, support, joy and connection. Exactly what I try to capture with my photography as well.
A Fun Family Photo Shoot in Greenwich Park, South London
With family photography I always want to capture how you feel for each other, even for families visiting London or on their holiday. Meet me at home, at your hotel, in your local park or in the majestic Central London - any location goes as long as you show your love for each other. This family was visiting London all the way from Hong Kong and decided on Greenwich Park as the location for their family photoshoot. The parents studied at Greenwich University…

Capturing perfection is not something I can do. Maybe because my definition of Perfection lies deeply in the relationship between parents and children. Those moments of spontaneous connection where you are really present, accepting and mindful always create space for creativity, happiness and fun.
London vacation photographer - visiting London with a Baby
Babies need freedom to explore and a quiet pace to take in new environments. That’s why I like to combine urban locations with a more relaxed setting - a local park or a hotel room. For this winter session, we knew the park option is out of question. The lovely January sunshine always comes with chilly winds so we decided to walk back to the AirBnb flat. An indoor setting allows parents to engage with their baby in a meaningful way - it’s definitely easier to play silly games when you’re warm and a hot cup of tea is brewing nearby.

Is it honest? If so, then I am proud of the portraits I am able to capture for the families I meet. Also true when children are older. If anything, these photos with teens and teenagers are even more special.
Family Photography with Teenagers in Wimbledon
As an artist it takes a lot of mental and physical energy to be constantly present and open to the people you meet. And you need this vulnerability to be able to create art. Honest art.
And why would anyone put themselves in a situation of being vulnerable over and over? Maybe because the urge to create art comes from a need that needs to be fulfilled. The need is bigger than the constant second guessing. It fulfils but most importantly it heals. Family shoots…
